Terms and Conditions
Terms of Service Agreement
All clients are required to review and sign our Terms of Service contract before a booking can be confirmed. This agreement outlines session details, policies, and expectations to ensure a smooth experience for both the client and photographer / videographer. Bookings are not secured until the signed contract and required deposit are received.
Retainer / Deposit
Deposits are always non-refundable and due at the time of booking. The deposit amount is listed in the pricing chart above and will be applied toward your session total.
Payment Policy
- The remaining balance for your photography session, after the deposit, is due on the day of the shoot
- The remaining balance for your videography session, after the deposit, is due before the delivery of final edits
- Final edits will not be delivered until the invoiced amount has been received
- Clients may pay online through our secure invoicing system or in person during the shoot with cash or check
- For check payments, final edits will not be delivered until the payment has cleared
- Accepted online payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Affirm, Klarna, and ACH transfer
Cancellations
If canceled 14 days or more before the scheduled session, the deposit may be applied toward another session at a later date. Cancellations made within 14 days will forfeit the deposit entirely, and any future work will be at the sole discretion of the photographer / videographer.
No-Shows
For Mini Sessions, failure to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time without prior notice will be considered a no-show and will forfeit the session and payment. For all other packages, the no-show window is 30 minutes.
Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, sessions may be rescheduled at no extra cost. Rescheduling due to slightly inclement weather is at the photographer’s / videographer's discretion, and it may be recommended in the client’s best interest to ensure optimal conditions and the highest quality results.
Location Fees
All third-party rental fees (studios, flower gardens, specialty venues, themed sets, farms, permits, etc.) are the responsibility of the client. Photographer / videographer can assist with booking upon request, with fees due in advance.
Breaks
Half-Day sessions include a 30-minute break for the photographer, and Full-Day shoots include a 1-hour break, both part of the total session time. Video shoots booked for half-day or full-day durations will include the same corresponding break periods as photography sessions. Full-day breaks may be taken as one 60-minute break or two 30-minute breaks at the discretion of the photographer / videographer.
Overtime / Photoshoot Extensions
First 30-minute extension billed at the Mini Session rate – $125 per 30 minutes. Beyond that, additional time is billed at $250 per hour, which includes 10 additional edited photos per hour.
Overtime / Videography Extensions
Overtime for videography projects is handled on a case-by-case basis. If a client requests additional footage during a shoot or wishes to extend the session, it will be at the discretion of the videographer.

- We are committed to staying longer when necessary to ensure the invoiced job is completed properly — at no additional charge
Note: This policy applies only to on-location shoot time. For added projects and extension requests, additional post-production or editing hours beyond what is included in your booked package will be billed at the standard editing rate.
Unused Time
Unused time cannot be carried over or split between multiple days. All booked time must be used during the scheduled session, and any remaining time is forfeited if the client chooses to end the shoot early.
Additional Photos
Additional images beyond the included amount for your package are $10 each. Silver and Gold Tier Loyalty Members receive discounts on up to 10 additional images per session. Silver Tier Members receive 25% off per additional images, and Gold Tier Members receive 50% off per additional image.
Artistic Style Policy
Our photographers and videographers are not obligated to deviate from their established shooting and editing styles as showcased in their portfolios. Requests for drastically different styles or creative approaches are accepted solely at the discretion of the photographer or videographer. Final edits that are reasonably consistent with the style and quality demonstrated in our portfolios should be expected and are not grounds for refunds or claims of unsatisfactory work.
Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to delivering high-quality images and videos that reflect the artistry, style, and professionalism shown in our portfolio. While creative work is naturally subjective, we take great care to ensure each project meets our standards and your expectations. If any concerns arise, we will work with you to address them promptly and reasonably, within the scope of your booked package.
Refunds are not offered for services already rendered; however, reasonable revisions may be provided at the discretion of the photographer or videographer to ensure client satisfaction. Our goal is for you to feel confident and happy with your final results — we want you to love your experience so much that you come back again and again.
Reshoot Policy
In the unlikely event that we determine our performance did not meet our own professional standards, or if unforeseen issues arise during a shoot — whether creative, technical, or due to equipment failure — we will offer a rescheduled session free of charge. As a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience, the client will also receive a complimentary photography mini session to be scheduled at a later date. This ensures you not only receive the quality and results we stand behind, but also enjoy an added benefit for your patience and understanding.
Delivery Timeline
Photography:
- Mini, Standard, and Deluxe Sessions – Final edited images will be delivered within 14 days of the shoot date. Clients will also receive a curated selection of sample images within 5 days to preview and share while the remaining edits are completed
- Half-Day and Full-Day Sessions – Final edited images will be delivered within 21 days of the shoot date. Clients will also receive a curated selection of sample images within 7 days to preview and share while the remaining edits are completed
Videography:
- Small Project packages – Final edited videos will be delivered within 21 days of the shoot date. A short preview clip or highlight reel will be provided within 7 days
- Half-Day and Full-Day Projects – Final edited videos will be delivered within 30 days of the shoot date. A short preview clip or highlight reel will be provided within 10 days
Travel Policy
Starting Point for All Travel Calculations 📍
All travel distances are calculated from the Lapeer County Historical Courthouse (235 W Nepessing St, Lapeer, MI 48446) for transparency, fairness, and accuracy.
Travel Distance Calculations 🧮
All travel distances are calculated using Apple Maps, based on miles driven rather than a radius. The fastest available route at the time of booking will be used to determine travel distance, ensuring accuracy and fairness in mileage calculations.
Mini Sessions 📸
For mini sessions only, pricing includes travel up to 15 miles driven one way from Lapeer, MI, calculated using the fastest available route in Apple Maps.
All Other Packages 📦
For all packages excluding photography mini sessions:
- Pricing includes travel up to 25 miles one way from Lapeer, MI (50 miles round trip)
Sessions Beyond Included Distance 🗺️
Travel outside the included distance is billed at $1.00 per mile round trip, measured from the courthouse address above.
Overnight Travel 🛏️
For sessions requiring overnight stays:
- All travel expenses (lodging, transportation, meals) are the responsibility of the client and must be paid in advance.
- A meal allowance of $60/day will be invoiced (calculated as $20 per meal for up to 3 meals per day).
Air Travel ✈️
For sessions requiring flights:
- The client is responsible for round-trip airfare for the photographer / videographer
- All checked baggage fees (including personal and photography / videography equipment) are billed to the client
- Any additional travel expenses (lodging, transportation, meals) are also the client’s responsibility
- A meal allowance of $60/day will be invoiced (calculated as $20 per meal for up to 3 meals per day)
- All travel arrangements must be confirmed and paid for in advance
TRAVEL POLICY
Single vs. Two
Photographers/Videographers
Driving 🚗
When hiring two Photographers / Videographers, travel mileage overages are billed at the standard rate for one vehicle only, as we can carpool. This helps keep costs at a minimum for our clients. Any mileage beyond the included distance will be charged at $1.00 per mile round trip.
Meals 🍽️
Clients are responsible for meal allowances for both Photographers / Videographers. The standard allowance is $60/day per person ($20 per meal, up to 3 meals per day).
Lodging 🛏️
For sessions requiring overnight stays:
- Only one hotel room is required for both Photographers / Videographers, helping to reduce client costs. Lodging expenses must be paid in advance.
- Hotel room is required to have two beds.
Air Travel ✈️
For projects requiring flights:
- The client is responsible for round-trip airfare for both Photographers / Videographers
- All checked baggage fees (including personal baggage and equipment cases) for both Photographers / Videographers
- Any additional travel expenses, such as transportation and meals, also apply
- All arrangements must be confirmed and paid in advance
